In the Living Hope Church Check-Up report presented by Pastor Paul yesterday, we found that one of Living Hope's weak areas is Compassion and Outreach to those who do not yet know Jesus. We would like to share a tangible way that you can be a part of helping those who are in need in our community.
In 2017 alone, Hope For Our City has given away over 164 TONS of groceries to families in need. Opening in 2010, Hope for Our City has been providing supplemental groceries at its weekly distribution to people from all walks of life. They include single moms/dads, young families, elderly, veterans, college students, employed, underemployed, unemployed, and the homeless. ALL are welcome regardless the circumstance, and everyone is served regardless of their ethnic background, race, or gender.
Living Hope sends a volunteer team one Wednesday a month to help with this distribution. If you, your family, or your Life Group would like to sign up to help, contact the church office!
We are the hands and feet of Jesus!
