Once this form is completed, it will be submitted to our office admin for processing and used in preparation for the next step towards membership.

MEMBERSHIP COVENANT

Having placed my faith in Jesus Christ, I am now led to join Living Hope of Willmar, MN.  I do so joyfully and commit to the following:
1. I will contribute to the spiritual maturity of our church
  • by maintaining personal and corporate spiritual disciplines of Bible Study, prayer and worship.
  • by promoting spiritual growth in my home and among my family members.
  • by seeking to live a victorious Christian life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2. I will protect the spiritual unity of our church
  • by participating in regular fellowship with others from Living Hope for the purposes of encouragement, teaching, exhortation and support.
  • by expressing an attitude of humility, love, grace and forgiveness in non-essential issues of personal preference.
  • by being in agreement with our Statement of Faith, Constitution and By-laws.
  • by following and praying for our leaders.
  • by following biblical principles in matters of conflict.

3. I will share in the spiritual impact of our church
  • by inviting the un-churched to attend services and other activities here and warmly welcoming those who visit.
  • by actively sharing my faith.
  • by discovering and using my gifts and talents in service to the church.
  • by giving tithes and offerings faithfully.
  • by praying for effective evangelistic outreach, locally and globally.

In recognition of the transforming power of God in your life, and by means of your
affirmation of faith in Christ and your commitment to Living Hope, the church
leadership joyfully and willingly commits to the following:
1. We will provide you opportunities for spiritual growth in the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God.

2. We will pray with you, for you and your loved ones.

3. We will spiritually nurture your relationship with Christ and with one another by lovingly caring for you and seeking your growth in Christ.

4. We will provide spiritual leadership by appointing pastors and elders who meet the criteria assigned to these leadership roles in the Scriptures.

5. We will be godly examples and join you in fulfilling our responsibilities as church members.
