2. When you think of the cross, what feelings or thoughts come to mind? Does it inspire hope, gratitude or something else? How does this impact your daily walk with Jesus?
3. Was Jesus capable of coming down from the cross? What kept him there?
4. How does realizing the cost of your forgiveness through Jesus' suffering shape your view of grace? Are there people in your life you find hard to forgive, and how can reflecting on the cross help you take steps toward forgiveness?
5. Since Jesus has opened the way to God, are you making time to draw near to Him regularly? In what ways might you be taking this access for granted, and how can you cultivate a deeper appreciation for this privilege?
