Application Questions:
1. What’s the farthest you have ever walked before? Where did you go and why?
Before continuing with the questions, make sure to read Genesis 5:1-24.
2. Talk through the metaphor of “walking” to explain one’s relationship to God. What does it mean?
3. Genesis 3 and forward presents the reign of death but also grace and hope in the midst of that reign. How do we see grace and hope in Genesis 3, 4, and 5? What about in chapters 6-12?
4. READ Hebrews 11:5-6. What does the author of Hebrews teach us regarding Enoch?
5. READ Jude 14-15. What does Jude teach us regarding Enoch and the time that he lived?
6. How can the truths regarding Enoch’s life encourage us in our walks of faith? What do these truths reveal about God and His character?
7. How can you take an active step this week in seeing/having hope in the midst of evil and death all around (like Enoch)?
